What the preset tells the model
The preset's rules are the ones an editor would give: earn every sentence, cut connective tissue, prefer the specific noun and verb, treat adverbs as a tax.
Interiority is the point. The model is asked to reveal character through attention rather than announcement, and to avoid melodrama even where the plot invites it.
A voice sample changes the most here: paste a page whose rhythm and vocabulary you want and the model matches the register, never the content.

Good to know first
- Every chapter prompt bans a list of AI-tell words and phrases, among them tapestry, delve, intricate and 'in a world where', and forbids the reflexive tidy ending.
- Length is set in chapters, not words: Pro writes 5 to 12 chapters, Ultra Max 5 to 30. Novella-length books are a normal choice here.
- The model writes in English and does not imitate named living authors' styles beyond what a pasted sample carries.

Common questions
Will it sound like AI?
Less than you expect, and you can judge for yourself: the free preview writes the opening chapter of your own book before you pay. The preset's restraint rules and the banned-phrase list are the same ones applied to every paid chapter.
Can I write in a specific voice?
