Prices are fixed per action and shown before anything is charged. Failed generations refund themselves.

Which plan should I start with?
Lite funds one Pro-generator book or a handful of Fast books a month. Standard is the plan most authors pick: several full-length books a month with credits left over for covers and narration. Pro is for volume, and it is the only plan with the Deep Manuscript Audit and the 20- and 30-chapter Ultra Max lengths.
How do credits work?
Every paid plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits, and each generation deducts a fixed amount. A Fast book is 50,000 credits, a Pro book is 300,000, and Ultra Max is 50,000 for the outline plus 50,000 per chapter, so a 12-chapter novel comes to 650,000. Your dashboard always shows what you have left.
Do unused credits roll over?
Your plan allowance resets each billing period, so unspent allowance does not stack up. Credits from a Top-Up Pack are different: they stay on your account until you spend them.
Is there a free trial?
Every new account gets a free preview: the opening chapter of your own book, about 500 to 700 words, at no cost and with no card required. Paid plans start when you choose one.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from billing settings, and it takes effect immediately: access ends and the remaining plan allowance is cleared, so if you want full use of a period you have paid for, cancel at the end of it. Your books stay saved, and any Top-Up Pack credits you bought are kept frozen on your account and restored in full if you resubscribe.
What is the refund policy?
All sales are final. Generated content consumes real compute the moment it is created, so we do not offer refunds on plans or credit packs. If a generation fails on our side, the credits are refunded to your account automatically. The free preview exists so you can judge the writing before you pay.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, from the dashboard. An upgrade is charged at the new plan's full price, starts a fresh billing cycle from that day, and adds the new plan's full monthly allowance on top of the credits you already have. Plan changes are not prorated.
What currency are prices in?
All prices are in US dollars and are billed through Stripe.
Do I own the books I generate?
Yes. Our Terms are explicit that you own the output, and exported files carry no ScribistIQ byline or watermark. You are free to publish, sell or adapt your books, and we take no cut.
