What the preset tells the model
Most AI romance reads flat because both leads sound the same and the attraction is announced instead of shown. The preset makes the model give the two leads different things to notice in the same room, and bans the generic shorthand in favour of small physical specifics.
The tension is built inside the characters first, what each wants against what each fears, before anything external gets in the way, and every chapter carries an obstacle that is only resolved when it has been earned.
Because the guidance is stored on the book, it also shapes any chapter you regenerate later and any passage you rewrite in the Write Studio.

- Adult romance is allowed and the preset targets adult readers of contemporary romance. In practice the model handles intimate scenes without explicit detail, so this is not a tool for erotica.
- A finished book can be shared as a public page only after a sexual-content check; explicit books stay private to you, and you can still export and print them.

Common questions
Can it write a slow-burn romance?
Yes. The preset is built for it: tension starts inside the characters, each chapter adds an obstacle, and the payoff is held until it is earned. Ultra Max books of 12 to 30 chapters give a slow burn room to build.
Will both leads sound the same?
That is the specific failure the preset targets. The model is told to give each lead a distinct, audible voice and to have them notice different things, and you can paste a writing sample for the voice you want.
How explicit can the scenes be?
Adult content is not blocked, but the model writes intimacy without explicit detail in practice, and a book only becomes a public page after a sexual-content check. If you need explicit prose on the page, this is the wrong tool.
