No. The forms ask for plain-English inputs. The genre presets pre-fill the rest.

Every paid plan comes with an allowance of credits. Each generation deducts credits based on how much it costs us to produce. A Fast book is 50,000 credits and a Pro book is 300,000. Ultra Max is 50,000 for the outline plus 50,000 per chapter, so a 12-chapter novel comes to about 650,000. Your dashboard shows exactly how many you have left.

Your plan allowance resets each month — unused allowance doesn’t stack up, so plan around your usage. Credits you buy separately in a Top-Up Pack work differently: those stay on your account until you spend them.

Your account moves into a paused state until the next charge succeeds. Your books stay safe and you can update your card from billing settings — access resumes immediately once the new charge clears.

Yes, from billing settings — and it takes effect immediately: access ends and your remaining plan allowance is cleared, so if you want full use of a period you’ve paid for, cancel at the end of it. Your books stay saved, and any Top-Up Pack credits you purchased are kept frozen on your account and restored in full if you resubscribe.

Credits are auto-refunded when a generation fails server-side. If you got a partial result and want to retry, the same form input will produce a fresh attempt without losing what you'd typed.

Yes. Open the book, hit Edit, change anything. There's also an AI assist bar (Rewrite, Shorten, Expand, Continue) that operates on selected text or the end of the chapter.

On Ultra Max you can paste 1–2 paragraphs of writing whose voice you want the AI to match. It mimics rhythm, sentence length, vocabulary level, and narrative distance — not the content. Saved with the book so chapter regenerations stay consistent.

Fast: under a minute. Pro: 3–6 minutes. Ultra Max novel: 10–20 minutes. The progress modal shows which chapter is being written and lets you keep working in another tab.

Where you write with the AI instead of only generating a whole book. Open a book in the Studio and you get the manuscript, a chat pane that has read it, your Story Bible, and a toolbar that acts on whatever you select.

Two kinds of assist. Fast ones work on a selection — rewrite, expand, shorten, describe — and chat turns count as Fast too. Pro ones are the flagship Continue, which carries the scene on in your book's established voice.

No. They draw on the monthly Studio allowance above, not your credit balance. On a paid plan that allowance is a hard limit: once it is used up, assists pause until your next billing period rather than quietly spending credits. Generating books, covers and narration still costs credits as normal.

Yes. From a book's detail page, choose Download cover. We render at 1024×1536 (web), 1600×2400 (KDP eBook), or 1800×2700 (KDP paperback 6×9 at 300 DPI). For print there's also a full front+spine+back paperback wrap — input your final page count for an exact spine width.

Yes. Open the cover designer to change title, subtitle, author, blurb, and the typography preset. Re-rendering text is free — only the AI image generation costs credits.

From Cover Art. Pick a model and how many variants you want (1–4) and we'll generate them. You can promote any variant to be the active cover.

Yes — from the Audio tool. Pick a voice, generate any chapter you want narrated, and the player auto-plays the whole book in sequence with prev/next, scrubbing, and ±15s skip.

Yes. Each narrated chapter can be downloaded as a WAV file from the Audio tool, one chapter at a time, so you can drop it into any editor or podcast workflow.

You do. We don't claim rights to your output. You're free to publish, sell, or modify. See the terms for the legal version.

Yes. You export the manuscript and a cover, then upload them to whichever store you choose. Our guide to publishing a book written with AI sets out what each store asks you to declare and which files it takes.

Yes — toggle Share on a book to get a public read page at /b/<slug>. We run a content-safety check on publish so the public site stays clean. You can unpublish any time.

From account settings choose Export — you'll receive a JSON dump of all your books, chapters, and metadata.

Same place as export. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your books and audio. We may keep some logs for up to 18 months, as described in the privacy policy.

Use the support form and we'll get back within one business day. Include your account email and the book ID if it's about a specific generation.
